Addition and subtraction fractions
These 5 lessons targeting students at Years 5-6, can be used as stand alone or as a sequence of lessons to develop understandings and proficiency in recognising and representing equivalent fractions, adding and subtracting fractions with related denominators and finding a fraction or percentage of an amount.
These lessons were developed in collaboration with the Australian Association of Mathematics Teachers (AAMT).
